Identity is a funny and complex thing. Many of us go through life without ever thinking about all the little things that make us, well, us. We wanted to talk about identity formation, and the little ways in which we individuate. We wanted to pick apart the places where we are attached to others, and how that informs who we ourselves are. We wanted to explore the ways in which the people we surround ourselves with, and the versions they hold of us, can almost transcend our own personal conceptions of selfhood. The constant observation of self through the eyes of others is both a warped and more true vision of the self we get to experience with the people we love.
