a moment about goodbyes is a narrative poem written by Lara Coady. The accompanying short film was her screen debut, shot and conceived in Amantea, Calabria, South Italy during the June 2023 International Film Residency Kino Guarimba.
The film was selected for Lift-Off First-Time Filmmaker Sessions 2024, and Lasta National Arts Festival 2024 supported by Backstage Theatre Longford, Glór Ennis, An Grianan Letterkenny, Dunamaise Arts Centre Portlaoise, The Lime Tree Limerick, Town Hall Theatre Galway, and Siamsa Tíre Tralee.
